Harvest Bounty Fills Hearts at Christ Church First School
Christ Church First School celebrated a bountiful Harvest Festival that showcased the generosity and creativity of everybody.
On Wednesday, we came together to mark the annual occasion. Our strong connections to the church meant that Reverend Harry came to our collective worship and read poetry written by Year 4, while Little Diamonds Class shared their favourite fruits and vegetables. Amber Class performed an acrostic poem, Sapphire Class read a self-made poem, and Topaz Class delivered some performance poetry. The school councillors also took the stage to read harvest prayers.
The Harvest Festival is just one example of how we foster a sense of social responsibility and celebrate the talents of our diverse student body on a daily basis.
The highlight of the festival was the impressive collection of food donations for the Fair Frome Food Bank.

"Wow, we have so much food to help others that need it," said Roma, from Amber Class, reflecting the spirit of the event."The children's enthusiasm and the community's support for this worthy cause were truly inspiring," Reverend Harry commented.
